Forge Roll Terms
Forge Roll is a free promotional mechanic that awards a single-use discount on one Smart Sushi Chef knife. These terms explain how it works, what you win, and what's in the small print.
1. Free to enter
No purchase is required to spin Forge Roll. We will never ask for payment or a payment method to enter. The only requirements are a valid email address and confirmation that you are 18 or older.
2. Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to participate. By ticking the age confirmation in the modal you confirm this is true. Forge Roll is not directed at minors and we will void any discount code awarded to a user who is later determined to be under 18.
3. How a session works
- You enter your email and confirm you are 18 or older.
- You press "Spin the Forge". A reel of knife cards rolls and lands on one product, chosen at random with the published odds (below). You receive a single-use discount code for that product.
- You get three spins per session. Each spin is independent: a new weighted random pick, a new card, a new code.
- After the third spin a chooser screen shows you all three cards you won. Tick the ones you want to send to your cart.
- Shopify allows only one discount code per order, so if you select more than one card the highest-percentage code is the one that auto-applies at checkout. The other selected products still go into your cart at full price; their codes remain valid and single-use for any separate order placed before the 30-day expiry.
4. Odds and rewards
Each spin is independent. The reward is determined by a weighted random number generator before the visual animation plays - the animation does not influence the outcome.

If the randomly-chosen rarity contains no in-stock products at the time of your spin, the next available rarity is used. This is a graceful fallback, not a bait-and-switch - you still receive a code at the rarity actually awarded.
5. Discount code rules
- Single-use. Each code can be redeemed exactly once. Once used at checkout it cannot be reused, transferred, or refunded.
- Expiry. Codes expire 30 days after issue. Unredeemed codes have no value after expiry.
- No cash value. Codes cannot be exchanged for cash, gift cards, or any other consideration.
- Product scope. Codes are intended for the product shown when you spin. Where Shopify allows per-product enforcement, the code will only apply to that product. Where it doesn't, the code applies to any product in the knives collection.
- One code per order. Shopify caps every cart at one active discount code. If you win multiple cards in a session and select more than one, only the highest-percentage code auto-applies; the other codes stay valid for separate orders, subject to the 30-day expiry.
- Not combinable with other promotions. Forge Roll codes cannot be combined with other promotional codes or sale prices unless discount stacking is explicitly enabled in Shopify for a given product.
- Fraud. We reserve the right to void any code obtained through automation, bots, multiple accounts, or other circumvention of these rules.
6. Cooldown
A full session is three spins. Once a session ends you must wait 24 hours before starting another. The cooldown is keyed to your email address and tracked client-side in your browser; clearing site data may appear to reset it, but issued codes remain single-use and we will void duplicates if abuse is detected.
7. Email use
The email you provide is added to our Smart Sushi Chef customer list and may be used to send order updates and occasional marketing email. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send. We do not sell or share your address with third parties beyond service providers necessary to operate the store. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
8. Jurisdiction
Forge Roll is operated by Smart Sushi Chef s.r.o., Kaprova 42/14, 110 00 Prague, Czech Republic (VAT CZ 21272336). These terms are governed by Czech law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic.
9. Changes
We may change these terms or end the Forge Roll mechanic at any time. Codes already issued and unexpired at the time of any change will remain valid under the terms that applied when they were issued.
