Shipping policy
Smart Sushi Chef ships from two warehouses, both operated by our 3PL partner Shipmonk:
- EU warehouse (near Prague) — for the bulk of our catalogue
- US warehouse (California) — for select bestsellers only: Kappa Kanpeki, SSC Fish Paper, Hangiri, and Neta Boxes
Shipping speed and tracking Once your order ships, Shipmonk emails you tracking information directly. EU orders typically arrive in 3–7 business days, US orders in 3–6 business days, and other international destinations in 7–14 business days depending on customs.
Free shipping Free standard shipping on EU orders over €80. The code SHIP80 can be applied at checkout if it doesn't auto-apply. Other regions: shipping calculated at checkout.
Delays and lost packages We are not responsible for carrier delays or lost packages, and we don't track every individual order on your behalf. If your package is taking longer than 7–14 days to arrive, please first contact the delivery carrier directly using your tracking number — they have the most accurate information. If they confirm the package is lost or was never shipped, email us at office@smartsushichef.com and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. We are forgiving on this — we'd rather make it right than argue.
US fulfillment is limited Our US warehouse only stocks Kappa Kanpeki, SSC Fish Paper, Hangiri, and Neta Boxes. If a US customer orders any item outside this list, the order will be automatically refunded — we don't ship across the Atlantic for individual orders.
Customs and duties Within the EU: VAT is included, no customs charges. Outside the EU: you may be charged import duties and local VAT by the carrier on delivery — these are set by your country, not by us.
