Japanese Mandolins
Only 3 left in stock
Description
Japanese mandolins for paper-thin vegetable slices - daikon, cucumber, and more.
Japanese-style mandolins use a single fixed blade and a flat deck - no complicated adjustments. You dial the thickness with a simple plate and pull the vegetable across at speed. The result is consistent, paper-thin slices that a knife can't replicate at volume. Standard in sushi prep for daikon tsuma and cucumber fan cuts.
- Best for: Daikon tsuma, cucumber, radish, thin citrus slices
- Adjustment: Dial or plate system (see variant)
- Available sizes: See variant selector
- Care: Hand wash, blade is extremely sharp - use cut-resistant glove
