Description
The replacement kagami - the lid that gets broken.
Every Kagami Biraki uses up one lid. This is the 70 cm wooden lid for a 72 L (4-to) barrel, pre-scored across the boards so it splits cleanly and safely on the mallet strike instead of splintering. Keep a spare for each ceremony you plan to hold, or for rehearsals.
- Diameter: 70 cm
- Fits: 72 L (4-to) sake barrels, including our Nanbu Bijin kit
- Material: Wood, scored for controlled breaking
- Single use: One lid per ceremony
